This year, Oceanside favorite San Luis Rey Bakery & Restaurant will be celebrating its 50th anniversary. A long time favorite with locals, the establishment is known for it’s amazing baked goods, homely and authentic Mexican food, and their tantalizing cakes.
When our customers walk through our doors, we want them see all the colors, to smell the freshly baked bread, to taste the flavors in our food,” says proud owner Saula Mendoza, “And we want them to think to themselves, “Wow, it’s like I’m in a little piece of Mexico. It’s so important to us that we are able to give them that feeling.”
